Laravel error tracking with SyncYak uses the rollbar-laravel package you may already have: its Monolog handler sends exceptions and log lines, and SyncYak groups them, counts them and tells Slack. Set ROLLBAR_TOKEN and ROLLBAR_ENDPOINT in .env and deploy; no code changes.

Queue jobs, Artisan commands and HTTP requests report the same way, with the stack frames and the request context Laravel provides.

How it works

Set up Laravel error tracking in three steps

  1. Install rollbar-laravel

    composer require rollbar/rollbar-laravel, and add the rollbar channel to your logging stack.

  2. Set two values

    ROLLBAR_TOKEN with your project’s server token and ROLLBAR_ENDPOINT with the full item URL, including item/.

  3. Add alerts

    Connect a Slack incoming webhook for new errors and spikes, and upload source maps from CI.

Laravel exception monitoring that groups the noise

A failing queue job can throw thousands of times. Occurrences of the same error are grouped into one item with a count, first and last seen, and the environments it appears in, so you see the ten problems, not ten thousand lines.

Slack messages for new errors and spikes go to the channels you choose per project. From Pro, snooze an error until it comes back.

Laravel deploy tracking and context

Notify SyncYak of each deploy from CI with the Rollbar deploy endpoint and the commit, and new items are marked against the release that introduced them. Add the signed-in user as the person on each occurrence and you can see how many people an error affected.

Environments come from APP_ENV, so production and staging stay apart, each with its own Slack destination if you like. Live tail shows occurrences as they arrive while you reproduce a bug, and saved views keep the filters your team uses every day.

What you get with Cloud Logging

Cloud Logging accepts the Rollbar SDKs at the same /api/1/item/ path: rollbar.js in the browser and Node.js, rollbar-php and rollbar-laravel, and the Python and Ruby SDKs. Occurrences are grouped into items, with source maps, deploys, live tail, saved views and alerts to Slack and Datadog.

Free collects 10,000 events a month with 14 days of history. Hobby is $9 a month for 100,000 events; Pro is $29 for 500,000. Past your plan, on-demand events cost $0.10 per 1,000 events, up to a cap you set.

Which form of the endpoint do I use?

In .env, the full URL ending in /api/1/item/. In config/logging.php, the base URL ending in /api/1/. Use one form, not both.

Does it work with Laravel Forge or Vapor?

Yes. It only needs outbound HTTPS to api.syncyak.com.

Can I keep logging to files too?

Yes. Add the rollbar channel to your stack next to the others.

Is there a free plan for Cloud Logging?

Yes. Cloud Logging has a free tier with no card and no end date: 10,000 events a month, 14-day retention, rollbar sdk compatible. Paid tiers start at $9 a month, and you can move up or down at any time.

Can I use the other SyncYak products on the same account?

Yes. Email parsing, the mailbox API, CRM sync, error tracking and tunnels share one login, one team, one API key system and one bill. Each product has its own tier, so you only pay more for the one that grows.
