A Zap you build in Zapier, started by each parsed lead. Example steps.

A CRM Zapier integration is easiest when the CRM sends a clear event. SyncYak syncs your CRM, whether Follow Up Boss, Lofty, BoldTrail, CINC, HighLevel, Cloze, Brivity or KW Command, into a Google Sheet or your database and sends signed lead.created, lead.updated and lead.deleted events to any URL you add, including a Webhooks by Zapier Catch Hook.

Each event names the tab or table and the ids that changed; a Zap step or your code reads the full lead from there.

How it works

Connect your CRM to Zapier in three steps

  1. Connect the CRM

Paste its API key or sign in at the vendor, name the connection, and choose the entities to sync. People sync by default.

  2. Add a Catch Hook endpoint

In CRM settings, add an outbound webhook endpoint with your Zapier Catch Hook URL and pick the events.

  3. Build the Zap

Use the event’s ids to look up the lead and continue with any app Zapier reaches.

Real estate CRM Zapier events, one format for every CRM

Events look the same whichever CRM they come from: Follow Up Boss, Lofty, BoldTrail, CINC, HighLevel, Cloze, Brivity and KW Command. A Zap built for one keeps working when you add another.

  • lead.created, lead.updated, lead.deleted, sync.completed
  • connection.failing and connection.recovered
  • Up to 500 records per event, signed per endpoint

Zapier CRM automation, with a full copy behind it

Because every lead is also in your Google Sheet or database, a Zap is not your only copy. Reports and scoring read the sheet or SQL; Zapier handles the notifications and the hand-offs.

Use cases

CRM Zaps worth building

  • New lead alerts

A text or Slack message when a lead is created.

  • Stage changes

A task in your project tool when a lead moves stage.

  • Sync health

An alert when a connection starts failing.

What you get with CRM sync

CRM sync copies every lead from Follow Up Boss, Lofty, BoldTrail, CINC, HighLevel, Cloze, Brivity and KW Command into a Google Sheet, on every plan with no database needed, or into a Postgres or MySQL database you own. In a sheet each object gets a tab and each lead a row, upserted by its CRM id, with deletions marked in _deleted and your own columns left alone; in a database you get a to_syncyak_<name>_people table and a _flat view with one typed column per field. Notes, tasks, deals and other entities can sync too where the CRM offers them.

Field mapping writes values back: map columns of a Google Sheet tab, or of a from_syncyak_ table, to CRM fields, and SyncYak writes changed rows into the leads. Write-back works with Follow Up Boss, Lofty, HighLevel and Cloze; BoldTrail, CINC, Brivity and KW Command sync one way. Free syncs 100 leads every 60 minutes from 1 CRM; Hobby, $29 a month, syncs 1,000 every 30 minutes from 2 CRMs and adds field mapping and real-time CRM webhooks.

  • Every lead syncs on every plan; the plan sets the batch size and how often
  • Signed outbound webhooks: lead.created, lead.updated, lead.deleted and sync.completed
  • Invite links let whoever administers a CRM connect it without a SyncYak login
  • A request log of every pull, webhook and push, kept for your plan’s window

Frequently asked questions

Something else? Write to [email protected] and a person answers.

Do events include the full lead?

They include the ids, table and view. Read the lead from the view, or use the id in a CRM lookup step.

Are events signed?

Yes, with the endpoint’s secret, shown once when you create it.

How many endpoints can I add?

Up to 20.

Is there a free plan for CRM?

Yes. CRM has a free tier with no card and no end date: 1 crm, 100 leads every hour, postgres or mysql destination. Paid tiers start at $29 a month, and you can move up or down at any time.

Can I use the other SyncYak products on the same account?

Yes. Email parsing, the mailbox API, CRM sync, error tracking and tunnels share one login, one team, one API key system and one bill. Each product has its own tier, so you only pay more for the one that grows.
