What it does for you

Your CRM, copied into a sheet or database you own

Keep a live copy of every lead from Follow Up Boss, Lofty, BoldTrail, CINC, HighLevel, Cloze, Brivity or KW Command, and write scores and tags back onto the CRM record.

  • Agents and loan officers

Own your lead history without a database: every lead and its stage lands in a Google Sheet you own, one row per lead, and stays yours when you change CRMs or brokerages.

    Read the full guide
  • Platforms and brokerages

Send each agent or office an invite link. They connect their own CRM without a SyncYak login, and their leads land in your database next to everyone else’s.

  • Developers and CTOs

Query CRM data with SQL instead of eight vendor APIs: one table per entity, a typed view per table, and a from_syncyak_ table that writes back.

CRM enrichment

Your sheet or your database becomes your CRM’s enrichment engine

Score leads, tag them, record pre-approval status, persona or open-house notes in a Google Sheet. Whenever a row is added or changed, SyncYak writes it into the matching lead in Follow Up Boss, Lofty, HighLevel or Cloze.

  1. Start from your leads

The starter sheet fills the id column with your synced leads, so you only fill in columns.

  2. Map each column to a field

Pick the CRM custom field for each column header, exactly like field mapping from your database.

  3. Edit the sheet, the CRM follows

Add or change a row and the values land on the lead in your CRM, automatically.

Included from CRM Hobby, $29 a month.

What CRM does

Sync every lead from your CRM into your own database, and write enrichment back.

01

Your database is the destination

Leads, deals, tasks and notes land in a Google Sheet, one tab each, or in tables in your own Postgres or MySQL, so your team reads them with the tools it already has.

02

Batches on a schedule, webhooks in between

SyncYak pulls changes in batches at your plan’s interval. From Hobby, CRM webhooks deliver changes as they happen.

03

Enrichment goes back to the CRM

Map columns in a from_syncyak_ table to CRM fields, and SyncYak writes them onto the matching records.

For developers

Every request takes an account API key: Authorization: Bearer sy_live_…. Keys can be limited to CRM.

Connect your database

Give SyncYak a connection string for a database it may create tables in. It needs CREATE on the schema, and SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE on the tables it creates.

postgres://syncyak:[email protected]:5432/crm?sslmode=require

Table naming

Each connection has a name you choose. Every entity gets a table to_syncyak_<name>_<entity> with the CRM’s record as JSON, and a view with the same name plus _flat that has one column per field.

Tables
-- connection "brokerage", entities people and deals
to_syncyak_brokerage_people -- one row per lead, data as JSON
to_syncyak_brokerage_people_flat -- a view: one column per CRM field
to_syncyak_brokerage_deals
to_syncyak_brokerage_deals_flat

-- write enrichment back: rows here update the matching CRM records
from_syncyak_brokerage_people

Questions about CRM

Something else? Write to [email protected] and a person answers.

Which CRMs can I connect?

Follow Up Boss, Lofty, BoldTrail, CINC, HighLevel, Cloze, Brivity and KW Command. Most connect with an API key; BoldTrail and CINC connect by signing in at the vendor.

Do I need a database?

No. On every plan, leads can land in a Google Sheet you share with SyncYak: one tab per object, one row per lead, updated by CRM id, with deleted leads marked and your own columns left alone.

If you have a Postgres or MySQL database reachable from the internet, choose it instead for typed views and SQL. Either way the data stays yours.

SyncYak needs permission to create tables and views, and to insert, update and select rows. The connection check tests each one and says which is missing.

How fast do leads sync?

Every lead syncs on every plan; the plan sets the pace. Free writes 100 leads every 60 minutes, Hobby 1,000 every 30 minutes and Business 25,000 every 2 minutes. From Hobby, CRM webhooks deliver changes as they happen.

Can a Google Sheet update my CRM?

Yes, from Hobby. Keep one row per lead in a Google Sheet, matched on the CRM lead id, and map each column header to a CRM custom field. Whenever a row is added or changed, SyncYak writes those values into the lead in Follow Up Boss, Lofty, HighLevel or Cloze. The starter sheet fills the id column with your synced leads, so you only fill in columns.

Can I write data back to the CRM?

From Hobby, map columns of a from_syncyak_ table to CRM fields, and SyncYak writes them onto the matching leads: a lead score, a tag, an assigned agent. Write-back works with Follow Up Boss, Lofty, HighLevel and Cloze; BoldTrail, CINC, Brivity and KW Command sync one way, into your database.
